When Someone Believes
Sometimes in life all we need is one person to not give up on us. Hercules is a testament to that truth, here is the story of his birth written by his original owner:
“Hercules was born late in the day, I was going out to feed and I heard a baby goat crying. I had no idea where it was coming from so I searched and searched and finally found newborn Hercules under a hay bale where he had shoved himself. When I found him, all the afterbirth was already dried on him and I couldn't figure out which goat was his mom. Hercules seemed almost dead, as if he used his last strength to call out until I found him. I took him inside and fed him a bottle, and started wrapping him up. He had to be a bottle baby because he couldn't stand to nurse. I needed to see if his muscles would be able to straighten out as his front legs were badly deformed. After a few weeks I was able to help him stand, and I kept working his muscles, by 6 weeks he was caught up to his siblings. As you can see today Hercules is normal, healthy and just the sweetest boy.”
