Finding Sanctuary
These remarkably warm December days have been quite a treat. I have enjoyed many bonus hours with the animals thanks to the unexpected sunshine. I find tremendous peace and exceptional joy in being with my menagerie. Particularly for me the goats and donkeys. I walk miles and miles with these creatures and each step holds the same solitude. Each journey I take them on leads me to a new level of contentment. There is a calming that hanging out with animals in the forest offers, an experience unlike anything else. Goats are curious and mischevious but also smart and loyal. Donkeys are strong, stoic defenders but also soulful love bugs. I can honestly say that I do not know where I would be if it weren’t for these animals, they have brought stability and purpose to my life in ways that I never thought possible.
In today’s busy virtual reality it can be difficult to find a calm centered place to exist. Time spent outside among animals is most certainly my happy place. With the holiday season upon us I feel lucky indeed. The goats and donkeys gift me with peace and joy all year long and I want you too experience the magic of animals. Watch the website because in 2025 I will be adding forest workshops with my equine and caprine friends. These workshops will allow the animals to help you find your center and perhaps wrangle some anxiety.
As it turns out I provide for these animals and they provide for me, we gift each other sanctuary. I am definitely lifted up and bettered by all the loving creatures I feed each day.
